Electrical

My road to becoming a 309A electrician apprentice started during a Pre-Technology course at college where I realized I was more interested in electrical versus mechanical studies. Today, at age 23, I am in my first-year apprenticeship with a great company in the fire alarm industry.
I originally wanted to become a millwright, but was unable to get into the course. This led to me taking a Pre-Technology course, followed by an Electrical Techniques course at college. After I graduated, I worked in various jobs alongside millwrights, cable networking technicians and elevator mechanics. The work could be dangerous and one job involved working inside a 153-metre (500-foot) elevator shaft.
