The plant kingdom is diverse and complex, with over 300,000 known plant species in the world. Plant identification is the ability to recognize and describe plants and their requirements, and it is an essential skill for Horticultural Technicians. By identifying a plant correctly, it gives you the knowledge of how to manage or maintain the plant’s growth and health in its surrounding environment.
